The month of September has already brought good news. Nendoroid Generation for the PSP now has a release date — Feb. 23, 2012, in Japan — and will include characters from Steins;Gate and Touhou Project. The limited edition package will also have Plus charms of several of the more popular characters. More info can be found here.

With the recent announcement of nendoroid Yune’s release date, I’ve been thinking about which nendoroids could be considered the cutest. Nendoroids are generally cute, but some are cuter than others. Here’s my list of the five cutest nendos that are currently out:
Yeah, I know. I’m biased because I have Azu-nyan, but I never said this list would be totally unbiased. In my opinion, she’s the cutest K-ON! girl, and her meowing/nyaning face just screams, “Take me home and feed me!”

Today I’m going to dedicate an entire post to the absolute worst nendoroid stand ever made. I am, of course, talking about the one that came with my Yuki Nagato nendoroid. Not the recent Disappearance version mind you, but the original Nagato released in 2007, when half the nendoroids were from either Haruhi or Death Note.
Just look at it. I guess she’s supposed to just lean against it. This makes every other nendoroid stand (that I’m familiar with, anyway) look like an engineering masterpiece. I don’t even use it because I’m afraid of Nagato slipping or falling over. She’s not too secure in her chair, but it’s safer than her being in her “stand”. The only good thing about it is that I was able to write a post about how horrible it is.
So I was on myfigurecollection.net today and came across the Nendoroid HighRollers club. Apparently, you have to own at least 60 nendos to join:
“We’ve made this place for those with 60+ Nendos to come and seek to discuss why they have continued to collect so many of these diminutive bundles of joy! Anything that comes up from space issues to handling so many little marvels to how much you think they cost as a whole, all is welcome here!”
