Personally, 2011 was a very crappy year. Really the only things that kept me sane were being with good friends, watching anime with good friends, going to cons with good friends and giving this blog some much-needed attention. Having said that, 2012 looks to be a better year in general and an even better year when it comes to nendoroids. Here are the five things I would like to see before the world ends:
1) More nendoroids from less popular shows

Like Sora no Woto, Working!! is a fine show. It’s cute and funny, but it will never be a huge deal. That’s why I was pleased when Popura got nendo-ized. More please.
2) Erica Hartmann and Gertrud Barkhorn nendoroid releases

Dear Phat Company, if these two are released in the first half of 2012, I will be good, I swear. If they get pushed back to the latter half of 2012, so be it. Just give me my gotdang German planegirls. I have big plans for them. Trudy has even grown on me a little bit.
3) And while we’re at it, more Strike Witches nendoroids

In 2009-11, we were blessed with Yoshika, Francesca, and Lynette. Shirley is coming in January. Erica and Gertrud are coming; we don’t know when, but let’s assume they’re released next year. Could I please have (at least) one more strike witch in 2012? This shit is taking too long.
4) Fewer Miku photos on myfigurecollection.net

… and really just everywhere else on the Internet. (I realize the irony in me posting a photo of Nendoroid Miku in this post.) Moving on …
5) Nendoroid Nodoka Manabe

So we can have boring-ass Ui but not the equally reliable and infinitely more attractive Nodoka? Is there anything you hate more than girls with glasses, Good Smile? Of course there is: Germans.
There are actually more than five things I would like to see in 2012, but if these five happen, I think I’ll die a happy man when a meteor or planet smashes into the Earth about a year from now.
